Just like other banks, we generate income from interest differences, which works as follows: When you deposit money into an indó account, we pay you interest on that deposit. Then, indó can place this money, for instance, in a savings account at the Central Bank and earn interest on it. We receive slightly higher interest on our deposit than what we pay to the customer, thus generating income to sustain the savings bank.
Additionally, we earn income from VISA because we issue debit cards as a full member of VISA. For every transaction made with these debit cards at merchants that accept VISA, we earn 0.2% of the transaction value. This is another source of revenue for us.
