Can I extend the overdraft if I can't pay it off within the period?

Yes, you can extend the overdraft for up to 12 months from the date you applied, without having to apply again, if you initially chose a shorter period.

After 6 months, you will need to apply for a new overdraft and go through the application process again, meeting the same requirements as before.

We do this to make sure you are aware of your overdraft and can make a conscious decision to keep it, rather than letting it continue indefinitely.
